The Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino provides the most significant platform for introducing and marketing new publications. LIT-UP enables publishers and authors who work with less commonly used languages to showcase their work in the global market, expand their skills, and cultivate new relationships. They participate in professional exchanges, meetings, workshops, and events, where they can discuss publishing and audio-visual rights and engage with publishers working in larger markets.

LIT-UP’s first workshop, which takes place at the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, aims to enhance the skills and capacity of publishers and authors to effectively participate in international fairs and derive maximum benefits. The skills acquired in this workshop can be directly applied to the Rights Centre of the Salone.

The Salone Internazionale del Libro is a comprehensive fair that represents a wide range of genres, including educational and culinary publications, poetry, and thrillers for all age groups. It hosts more than a thousand publishers every year, from large groups to independent publishers. Furthermore, a project is dedicated to publishing start-ups founded less than 24 months ago and not associated with major publishing groups, providing them with a remarkable opportunity to establish themselves at the national level.
